I made a trammel hook today. It took me a little longer than I expected, but I think the result was worth it. It's anywhere from 16 to 25 inches long, depending on how you set it up.
My favorite feature is the little button "stop" that has my touchmark on it.
The finish was beeswax applied while the metal was hot.
I think it will be a handy addition to my campfire tripod the next time we are doing some outdoor cuisine...

Fall Pumpkins.... Horseshoe Style
Fall is here... time for pumpkins. Halloween, Thanksgiving.... cooler temps down here in Texas. Man, it's really my time of year. Love to relax out by the campfire and listen to the kids run around playing after roasting the perfect marshmallow. All these things come to mind even in the summer as I anticipate the coming season.
